Danny Mui raised from the button to 2,500,000, and Barry Borgmeyer moved all in for 2,000,000. Mui pulled some chips back, and Borgmeyer's tournament life was on the line.
Barry Borgmeyer: A♥9♣
Danny Mui: K♣2♥
The board gave Borgmeyer two pair with 5♣A♦9♥10♦K♦ and the win.
Level: 31
Blinds: 100,000/250,000
Ante: 250,000
Action was picked up with Kelly Slay, at risk and Neil Willerson ina showdown.
Kelly Slay: A♦Q♦
Neil Willerson: A♥6♠
Slay was ahead with a better kicker. The flop 3♦8♦3♥ strengthened her lead with a flush draw. The 7♣ turn was peeled with no consequence and so did the 9♥ river.
Slay scooped the pot for a double as Willerson was left to count what he had remaining.
Benjamin Freeman and James Kasin had already built a pot of 400,000 when the flop dropped 9♦6♠5♦.
Kasin checked and so did Freeman. Both players tapped the table on the K♠ turn too. But after a check on the river J♣, Freeman fired 450,000 which was enough to take the pot down.
Breno Drumond raised from the button to 400,000, and Bernat Carreras Moragrega called from the big blind. The flop showed up with 6♦8♠9♦, and both players checked.
The turn 5♠ brought a 200,000 bet from Moragrega, and Drumond called.
Both players checked the river 7♠. Drumond turned over 9♥9♣, and Moragrega flipped up Q♣8♦. The dealer went to ship the chips to Drumond, but the table quickly protested, as it was a chopped pot with the straight on the board.
One of the players stated, "That was a sick runout."
Liran Manteka moved all in for 2,950,000 from under the gun, and Takuto Okawa was next to shove his stack of 3,125,000 in middle position. Shawn Gray was next to act, and he too moved all in for 825,000.
Shawn Gray: A♠J♦
Liran Manteka: K♥J♠
Takuto Okawa: A♦Q♣
Okawa was ahead until the J♣7♥2♦ flop, which saw both opponents move in front. Gray survived the 8♣ turn and 6♠ river to earn the triple-up, while Manteka took the side pot to leave Okawa with a single big blind.
Akira Ide raised to 525,000 from under the gun, and Bill Klein replied by moving all in for 2,300,000 on the button. Ide made the call, and the hands were turned up.
Akira Ide: A♥K♣
Bill Klein: 10♣10♦
Klein found the help he was looking for on the 9♠7♣5♣K♦4♥ runout, winning the flip to eliminate Ide.
