Hiroyuki Noda opened to 24,000 from the cutoff before Imari Love chose to go all-in for 116,000 on the button. Ohad Geiger made the call out of the big blind. Noda folded to get out of the way as Love and Geiger went to a showdown.

Imari Love: A9All in
Ohad Geiger: JJ

Love was facing an uphill battle as he went to a runout against the pocket jacks of Geiger.

The QK6 flop did not help Love much at all, but the K turn gave Love some additional outs.

Love was calling for the queen on the river. The queen didn't come, but an ace did when the river peeled the A to give Love a pair of aces and the double-up.

Choi Wins Monster Pot

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The action of this hand leading to the river was recounted to PokerNews by players at the table.

Chun Kwan opened to 16,000 from early position before Yoon Choi three-bet to 47,000 from the next seat over. Joan Crespi responded with a four-bet to 140,000 from the small blind, which got a fold from Kwan. Choi stayed in the hand with a call.

Crespi bet 90,000 on the 86K flop before Choi followed with a call.

The J turn led to a check from Crespi, but Choi was still in the mood to put chips in the pot as he wagered 140,000. Crespi came along with a call.

Crespi checked again on the 5 river. Choi put it all on the line when he jammed for his remaining 247,000. Crespi asked for a count before he made the call to put Choi at risk.

Choi showed KK for top set, while Crespi showed he made a hero call with 1010 to award the huge pot to Choi.

Why Will Givens Has Been Absent with a Big Stack Deep in WSOP Main Event

Will Givens
Will Givens

Will Givens bagged a big stack on Day 5 in the WSOP Main Event, but he was mysteriously absent when play resumed Saturday morning.

It was a bit strange to see an empty chair this deep in the biggest tournament in the world, where the remaining players were playing for potentially millions of dollars. But Givens, a Will Kassouf of sorts at the poker table, had something better to do than arrive on time, he told PokerNews. Apparently, he can't crush it on the felt without the proper nutrition. More specifically, avocado toast.
