Hyeungill Lee: KJ

Farahi had Lee's hand dominated, but the flop gave Lee a glimmer of hope when it came J25 to give Lee a pair of jacks.

That is where the intrigue ended for Lee as the 5 turn and the 10 river sealed the deal in favor of Farahi to award him the double up.

Liu was in a bad position going into the runout as he was only directly drawing to a king against Ferrara's pocket jacks.

The flop gave Liu little to work with when the dealer fanned out 92A to keep Ferrara in the lead.

Liu failed to improve on the 8 turn or the Q river to be eliminated from contention.

The Stars Start to Fall

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
John Juanda
John Juanda

Level 22 has been a brutal one with many more players hitting the rail. Among them were 25k Fantasy player Dylan Linde and Ryan Leng.

Previous main event champion and five time WOSP bracelet winner John Juanda was also unlucky during this level and joined them on the rail.

Frank Lagodich
Frank Lagodich

Frank Lagodich opened to 60,000 from early position, but David Simon wanted to up the price of admission when he three-bet to 190,000 from the small blind. Lagodich went all-in for 325,000 total and was called by Simon to be at risk.

David Simon: 1010

Lagodich was in command with five cards to go, and the flop did not alter that when it came 326 to keep Lagodich in the lead.

The K was another blank between the two players.

Lagodich improved to a set of queens on the Q river to secure the double up.

Ajayi Slowly Rebuilds

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Soon after taking a huge tumble in chips from the start of the day after he got his aces cracked, Adedapo Ajayi was back in a hand with Kevin Andriamahefa.

Andriamahefa opened to 55,000 from the cutoff and Ajayi defended his big blind. The 352 flop saw both check to the 3 turn, and again to the 7 river. Ajayi opted to bet 30,000 which was enough to see Andriamahefa fold and pass Ajayi the small pot.

One Outer is No Problem for Zeng

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Linglin Zeng
Linglin Zeng

Linglin Zeng opened to 65,000 from early position before Samuel Rosborough opted to three-bet to 150,000 from the cutoff.

Zeng made the call to welcome the 74J flop before she checked. Rosborough continued for 90,000 and was called by Zeng.

Both players checked the 5 turn to usher in the 6 river. Zeng put out two blue chips for a wager of 200,000. Rosborough quickly called to go to a showdown.

Zeng showed 33 for a straight flush on the river. It was a fortunate river as Rosborough tabled KK for a king high flush that was no good due to the one outer river.

Punsri Cracks Ajayi's Aces

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Punnat Punsri
Punnat Punsri

This hand was picked up on the flop with approximately 180,000 in the middle in a three-handed pot on a board that read 9510.

Punnat Punsri checked his option from early position. Adedapo Ajayi bet 75,000 from the next seat over before Eric Tsai made the call on the button. Punsri pushed the action with a check-raise to 220,000. Ajayi jammed in response, which shed Tsai. Punsri called to put himself at risk for 750,000.

Punnat Punsri: 1010All in
Adedapo Ajayi: AA

Ajayi had the aces, but they were in trouble as Punsri had flopped top set to be in the commanding lead.

The 5 turn killed any hopes of a runner-runner flush for Ajayi, for although he hit the club, it paired the board to give Punsri a full house.

The river was the J, making the paired board on the turn all the more important as Punsri held to secure the double up and crack Ajayi's aces.
