Peter Yang opened to 300,000 from middle position and Darius Samual called from the small blind. Mark Newhouse moved all in for his last 3,525,000 from the big blind and Yang took a while before he made the call. Samual folded and the players went heads up to showdown.

Newhouse was hoping to hold with pocket threes and the 2♥10♠9♦ flop kept him ahead. There was a chance of the backdoor straight for Yang, but the 2♣ turn and Q♦ river saw Newhouse hold his ground and double up his stack.

This hand was picked up on the turn of a board that read 7♥9♣2♥J♠ with about 800,000 already in the middle.

Luis Yepez bet 425,000 on the turn from under the gun before Michael Rocco popped it to 1,125,000. Yepez made the call to continue in the hand.

The 3♥ turn resulted in a check from Yepez before Rocco sized up a large bet and put out 2,700,000. Yepez had 2,600,000 behind, which meant that should he call, he would be doing so for his tournament life.

Yepez went deep into the tank as he agonized over the situation. Yepez eventually threw his cards in the muck as Rocco won the pot wihtout a showdown on the river.

Yanting Jiang opened to 300,000 from under the gun and Dylan Lew three-bet to 750,000. Action went to Kyle Dishongh on the button, and he opted to jam for his entire 2,650,000.

Jiang made a quick fold, and Lew took some time before he tabled his 10♥10♦ but said fold whilst doing so. Another player at the table said "Show one?" to Dishongh and he let the player flip over just the A♦. The player asked, "Did I pick a good one?".

After seeing the hands, Lew said "I've spent the last two and a half hours folding, and I get two good hands and lose both of them!"

Saliba was well in front, but the flop gave something for each player as it came K♣Q♦4♣ to give Saliba top pair and Choi the flush draw.

The 7♥ was safe for Saliba, but the river was fatal for his tournament hopes as it came the 2♣ to give Choi the flush and signal Saliba's exit.

Seaton needed to improve, but the K♥10♥3♥ flop gave him little to work with as they entered the final stretch.

Dishongh held on the 5♥ turn and the A♣ river to eliminate as players went on break.

Players were already heads-up and fighting for a 1,300,000 pot with Michael Rocco on the button and Jason Raber in the big blind. The full 9♣2♣2♥5♠4♥ board was already dealt.

Raber had jammed for his last 995,000 and action was back on Rocco. It took a few minutes for Rocco to decide what to do, but he eventually lifted his hand and threw it into the muck.

Kozieja would see his final card of the tournament when the 7♦ peeled on the river to eliminate Kozieja.
