Lew Gets River Value from Jung

Chahn Jung began the action with a raise to 2,000,000 from the cutoff.

Dylan Lew defended his big blind and sent them to a flop of 588 before he checked. Jung also checked.

Both players checked the J turn to usher in the 6 river. Lew opted to bet 1,200,000 on the complete board. Jung made the call.

Lew showed 54 for two pair as Jung mucked his hand to award the pot to Lew.

It was looking bleak for Hawkins after the 4510 flop, but the turn was much kinder when it peeled the K to give Hawkins a pair of kings and the lead.

Hawkins faded Jiang's straight and ace outs on the 7 river to secure the double up.

After passing a lot of his blinds across the table, Dylan Lew was one of the shortest stacks in play. In a recent hand action folded around to Lew in the small blind, and he opened to 2,000,000. Maurice Hawkins defended his big blind and the players saw a 6K10 flop.

Hawkins put Lew all in for his last 3,600,000 and the pair turned their hands.

In the next hand, Yoon Choi raised to 2,500,000 from the small blind and Yanting Jiang called from the big blind.

The K84 flop saw Choi bet 1,500,000 and Jiang raised to 4,000,000. Choi tank-called and the players saw the 4 turn.

Choi was in good shape for a double up, and the flop did not bring any surprises as it came 103J to keep Choi in command.

The Q turn gave Jung an open ended straight draw, but the upset did not come to pass on the 4 river as Choi was awarded the double.

The K78 flop was checked by Punsri and Jung bet 1,000,000 to cover Punsri's remaining chips. Punsri called and put himself at risk of elimination.

This hand was picked up on the river with over 8,000,000 already in the middle between Chahn Jung and Yanting Jiang on a board that read 3Q24J.

Jung opted to bet 6,000,000 on the river. Jiang made the call to go to a showdown.

Jung showed QJ for a rivered two pair. Jiang mucked her hand as Jung took down a big pot as the break was ticking away.
