Seidel Runs into Shylko's Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel from early position clashed with Aliaksandr Shylko on the button preflop as all the chips got in the middle, with Seidel at risk for approximately 244,000.

Erik Seidel: 1010All in
Aliaksandr Shylko: AA

Shylko had Seidel on the ropes with the runout to come with a pair over pair situation.

The flop brought no relief for Seidel when it came J69, besides some backdoor straight machinations.

The hope of any runner-runner magic died with the 6 turn.

Seidel's tens would fall when the Q river hit to award the pot to Shylko.

Fast Blasts Against Roser

Level 8 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Dietrich Fast
Dietrich Fast

Hannes Jeschka opened to 16,000 from middle position before Jack Roser called from the next seat over in the hijack. Dietrich Fast called on the button, and Candy Lin came along from the small blind to create a four-handed pot.

It checked to Jeschka on the 4103 flop before he bet 16,000. Roser re-raised to 60,000 in response. Fast was unfazed by all the action and opted to three-bet to 125,000. This cleared out everyone but Roser, who made the call.

Both players slowed down with a check on the J turn to bring the A river.

Roser checked it over to Fast, but Fast was not done betting. Fast chose to put out a large bet of 325,000, which was enough to put Roser all-in should he call.

Roser gave it some consideration, but decided to fold as Fast took in the pot.

Level 8 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu opened to 18,000 from the cutoff before Brandon Wilson defended his big blind to go to a flop.

The flop came A3Q before Wilson checked. Negreanu continued for 8,000 before he told David Coleman, who was out of the hand, his prediction on Wilson's action.

"I bet you $20 that he folds on the flop," Negreanu said. "He's got dust."

Wilson made the call to bring the K turn as Negreanu paid Coleman. Both players checked as the K peeled on the river.

Wilson chose to bet 24,000 on the river, which was quickly called by Negreanu.

Wilson tossed his cards in the muck as Negreanu tabled A2 to show that he had a pair of aces.

"You may have won the twenty dollars," Negreanu said to Coleman. "But I won the hand. I told you he had dust."

The very next hand, Cary Katz limped from middle position before Negreanu chose to raise to 32,000 from the hijack. Katz made the call.

Both players checked the 49Q flop to bring the 8 turn. Katz bet 25,000, and Negreanu called.

The 8 river peeled before both players checked.

Katz showed 109, but it was Negreanu with the winner as he tabled KK, much to the amusement of the table.

The A on the turn saw Puetz fire out another bet for 55,000, and Theologis called again. Puetz decided to put Theologis all in on the 3 river for roughly 200,000, and Theologis snap-folded.

High Roller Show One is On

Level 8 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

If there is a fun table at the $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em event, Table #68 would be the presumptive favorite as a festive and rowdy atmosphere has taken over the table. The table has agreed to show one card should they win the pot.

In this small hand, Daniel Negreanu opened to 18,000 from the hijack, which led to calls from David Coleman on the button and Paulius Vaitiekunas in the big blind.

The flop came 39K before it checked to Negreanu, who continued for 20,000. Both Coleman and Vaitiekunas folded as Negreanu showed the A before taking in the chips.
