Tuominen Stays Out of Trouble

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Big O

Maxx Coleman opened to 35,000 on the button, and Eemil Tuominen three-bet to 115,000 in the big blind. Coleman made the call, and Tuominen checked the 7J9 flop.

Coleman announced pot, making it 255,000 to represent most of Tuominen's remaining stack.

"Better fold now before I find an excuse," Tuominen said as he let his hand go.

Easy Pot for Fischer

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Five Card PLO

Maxx Coleman limped in the hijack, as did Zachary Fischer in the cutoff. Michael Lenz made the call in the small blind, and Justin Liberto checked his big blind option.

Lenz and Liberto both tapped the table on the A5J flop, with Coleman checking behind. Fischer slid out a bet of 50,000, and Lenz took some time before letting his hand go.

Liberto and Coleman followed with fast folds, as Fischer picked up the pot.

Five Card PLO

Justin Liberto raised to 35,000 from middle position. Michael Lenz, playing from the big blind, was the lone caller.

On the flop of 27K, Liberto bet 25,000 and Lenz quickly called. Lenze then flipped in 80,000 to make the call when Liberto bet on the A turn. The J landing on the river slowed Liberto down, as he checked.

Lenze grabbed 150,000 from his stack and pushed it forward. Liberto went deep into the tank, for more than four minutes. Then he made the call.

Lenz tabled 105543, showing he had only a pair of fives. Liberto had AK865 and took down the hand with top two pair.

Lenz then asked Liberto if the bluff would have worked had he bet more. Liberto scooped up the chips without answering.

Peebles Falls to Lee

Big O

Andrew Ostapchenko raised to 35,000 in early position, and Emory Peebles three-bet to 130,000 in the cutoff. Hokyiu Lee took some time before four-betting to 315,000, and Ostapchenko got out of the way. Peebles moved all in, and Lee made the quick call.

Emory Peebles: AQJ62 All in
Hokyiu Lee: AAJ73

Lee's aces remained in front on the 1010Q flop, improving to a full house to lock up the hand on the 10 turn. The dealer completed the board with the 10 river, as Peebles was sent to the rail.

Eli Elezra took the empty seat at the table, but was eliminated one hand later.

Matusow Chops, Then Exits

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Liam Murphy raised to 50,000 in early position, and Scott Abrams made the call in the hijack. Mike Matusow moved all in for 165,000, and was at risk when Murphy announced pot. Abrams got out of the way, and the cards were turned up.

Mike Matusow: AA43 All in
Liam Murphy: AQ54

Matusow watched as his aces held through the 835 flop, while Murphy hit the Q turn to make two pair. The 2 river left both players with a wheel.

Matusow claimed half of the pot, but his short stack was gone a few hands later as Abrams collected the last of his chips.

No Low Road for Ritzie

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Big O

After Robert Galbraith and Joseph Ritzie limped from middle position, Carlos Sanchez raised the pot to 85,000.

Steven Liu, who was on the button, and Ritzie called. Galbraith checked out.

As soon as the flop hit 43K, Ritzie shoved all in with 245,000. Sanchez did the same with less. Liu made the call.

Joseph Ritzie: AQ652All in
Carlos Sanchez: AJ763All in
Steven Liu: A10522

Ritzie had to be feeling pretty good about his low and straight draws with ace-deuce-five-six to fight off being counterfeited. Unfortunately for him, in the J4 runout, the low didn't get there, and neither did any straight.

Sanchez scooped the pot with only jacks and fours, and Liu claimed the overage on a side pot to send Ritzie home with his deuces and fours.
