Hand #190 - Peter Eastgate

Peter Eastgate has the button. He limps in, prompting Ivan Demidov to raise to 2.425 million. Eastgate calls.

The flop comes down {4-Hearts} {J-Spades} {2-Hearts}. Demidov calmly announces a bet of 3.125 million that is called without hesitation by Eastgate. The turn is the {J-Clubs} and causes Demidov to slow down with a check.

"5.675 million is the bet from Peter Eastgate," says TD Jack Effel. Demidov quickly folds.

Hand #186 - Peter Eastgate

Peter Eastgate has the button. He again opens for 2 million chips. Demidov calls to a flop of {8-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {5-Clubs}. Both players check, taking us to the turn, which is the {A-Spades}. Again Demidov checks, but that's not the case for Eastgate. He bets 2.25 million. Demidov thinks it over, then calls.

The river is the {4-Diamonds}. Demidov checks a third street, and Eastgate checks behind. Neither player has hit the board. Demidov shows a pair of eights, jack kicker with {J-?} {10-Diamonds}; Eastgate takes it down with a pair of eights, queen kicker with {Q-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}.

Hand #184 - Peter Eastgate

Peter Eastgate has the button. He makes it his now-standard 2 million to play. Demidov thinks it over before calling.

{3-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {8-Spades}

Demidov has developed a habit of checking to Eastgate when out of position on the flop, as he does here. Eastgate bets 2.5 million, folding Demidov and winning the pot.
