Bonomo Adds to His Lead

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

John Racener opened to 900 under-the-gun, getting a call from the player on the button. Chip leader, Justin Bonomo three-bet to 4,500 out of the big blind and the player on the button made the call.

Bonomo stayed pat, his opponent drew one, and both players checked. Bonomo tabled {9-}{8-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for a nine-eight low and his opponent mucked.

Parker Stays Alive with a Chop

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Badeucey

Catching the action on the final draw with Brock Parker all in, he drew one card from the small blind, as the big blind drew one and Marco Johnson stood pat.

The two active players checked and Johnson tabled his {J-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} while Parker tabled his {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} to see the pot chopped up.

From the blinds, both Justin Bonomo and John Racener committed 1,600 chips and each drew two cards.

Bonomo bet 800 and Racener called drawing two after Bonomo drew one.

Bonomo bet 1,600 and stood pat as Racener called and drew one.

Bonomo led out again for 1,600 and Racener called.

Bonomo fanned his {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a seven-seven and Racener folded.

MacPhee Out

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

A confusing hand has played out that sees Kevin MacPhee on the rail.

MacPhee was all in for roughly his final 8,600 and after the second draw with the action on him, the dealer assumed he patted and MacPhee's opponent patted behind.

The floor was called and ruled that MacPhee still had all his options and he decided upon patting as his opponent's action stood as a pat also.

MacPhee tabled a {9-}{6-}{X-}{X-}{X-} but it would be his opponent's {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} that would earn him the pot and send MacPhee to the rail.

Staszko Runs Straight into a Wall

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

The 2011 WSOP Main Even Runner-up, Martin Staszko, has seen his chip stack pushed towards another player.

Staszko opened to 800 and called a three-bet to 2,800, leaving less than pot behind. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Staszko pushed his remaining stack in the middle. His opponent snap-called, putting Staszko at risk.

Martin Staszko: {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Staszko's two pair was best but had to fade a ton of outs to stay alive. The dealer delivered the final two cards, laying down the {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} to complete the board. Staszko's opponent made a straight on the turn and the native of Czech Republic gathered his belongings and headed for the exit.
