Badugi for Turner

Level 14
Jon Turner
Jon Turner

Badugi

After the first draw, David Benyamine bet and Jon Turner raised in a battle of the blinds. Benyamine called. We didn't see the second draw, but Benyamine check-called a bet. Benyamine took one on the final draw and Turner patted. Both players checked the end, with Turner showing down {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for a jack-badugi and the win.

Franklin Survives, Maslak Makes the Most

Level 14

Badacey

Tom Franklin moved all in for his last 2,200 and Konstantin Maslak raised to 5,000 on the button. Kevin Gerhart and Justin Bonomo both called in the blinds and drew three as Franklin and Maslak drew two.

Maslak bet 2,500 and both Gerhart and Bonomo check-called and drew two as Frankin also drew two but Maslak drew just one.

The blinds again checked over to Maslak and he bet 5,000 as Gerhart folded but Bonomo called and each player drew one.

Bonomo checked, Maslak bet 5,000, and Bonomo called.

Bonomo tabled his {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a seven-low while Maslak tabled his {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a six-dugi to see the side pot chopped.

Franklin tabled his {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{A-Clubs} and split half of the main pot with his superior low with Maslak.

Johnson Short

Level 14

Badeucey

Both Lance Allred (cutoff) and Marco Johnson (button) had over 20,000 in front of them on the last draw. Allred patted and Johnson took one. Johnson called a final bet on the end, and Allred showed {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a six-badugi and nine-low. Johnson couldn't beat either and has just a few bets remaining now.

Razz

Three players had pairs showing on fourth in a hand that went to seventh street three ways on the bubble.

John Marlowe: {x-}{x-} / {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Sampo Ryynanen: {x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Brandon Cantu: {x-}{x-} / {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Marlowe bet fourth street and got two calls, and it was Ryynanen taking the betting lead on fifth and sixth. On the end, Cantu, showing trip tens, fired a bet after Ryynanen checked. Marlowe mucked, but Ryynanen called. Cantu showed {a-}{6-}{3-} for a ten-low and Ryynanen simply nodded and mucked.

On the final draw, Fawaz drew one and caught the {9-Diamonds} to go along with {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{A-Hearts} for a nine-dugi.

For his efforts, Levine captures a 55th-place finish and a $2,253 payout.

David Macklin Eliminated on Bubble

Level 13

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

With 9,000 in front of each player preflop, David Macklin moved all in on an {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flop for about 9,000 more. Zack Freeman called on the button right away. After action at all the other tables finished up, the two tabled their hands.

Freeman: {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Macklin: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Freeman had tons of outs for low, but his nut card was a seven, and a {7-Spades} banged off right away on the turn to give him the nut low and second nuts for high. The river was a {3-Clubs}, and Freeman scooped it to bust Macklin on the bubble.
