Chris Klodnicki Eliminated by Bernard Lee

Level 3 : 50/100, 25 ante

Chris Klodnicki moved all in from early position for 1,075. Bernard Lee called, as did the small blind before the big blind three-bet to 3,200.

Lee asked how much before moving all in. Everyone folded including the raiser.

Klodnicki drew two and Lee stood pat with {10-}{9-}{6-}{3-}{2-}. Klodnicki was drawing live with {9-}{3-}{2-} but was dead after he flipped over the {j-}.

A Curious Ruling

Level 3 : 50/100, 25 ante

Four players were in a hand on Benny Glaser's table and a floor person had been called for.

According to Scott Seville, he had put out two cards to indicate that he was drawing two. At some point before all of the other three had a chance to decide how many to draw, the dealer had mucked these two cards.

In order to make it clear to the remaining players in the hand Seville was indeed drawing two, the dealer chose to place two random cards from the muck in front of Seville.

However, Seville then pulled those two cards into his hand and that was when the floor was called.

After not one, not two, but three floor people were consulted, it was ruled that he would have to play his hand with those two new cards.

The hand proceeded without incident, with three players folding to a bet from a different player.

"I have to say," said Seville after he had folded and the hand had finished, "Someone broke a pair of fives, because I threw away ace-king and got back jack-five."

Bakes Takes Two Off Jason Mercier

Level 3 : 50/100, 25 ante

David "Bakes" Baker just won two hands in a row off Jason Mercier.

In the first hand, Baker opened to 300 and Mercier called from the big blind. Both players drew one. Mercier checked and Baker bet 700. Mercier called and Baker showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Mercier mucked.

In the next hand, Baker opened to 300 again. Mercier called from the small blind and Shaun Deeb folded the big blind. Mercier drew one and this time Baker stood pat.

Mercier checked and Baker turned over {j-}{10-}{8-}{5-}{4-}. Mercier mucked.

Paul Volpe Doubles Up

Level 3 : 50/100, 25 ante

Action was blind on blind and Paul Volpe drew one and his opponent stood pat.

Volpe then moved all in for 3,325 and his opponent tanked.

"I feel like you have a nine-eight," said his opponent, "You have nine-eight, right?"

"Let me take a look," replied Volpe taking a peek at his cards. His opponent called and Volpe announced, "Nine-seven," showing {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}, and that was good enough to take down the pot and double up.

Hungry Boys in the 2-7 No-Limit Lowball

Level 2 : 50/75, 25 ante

On the "Table of Death" which includes Jason Mercier, Shaun Deeb, and Chance Kornuth, and with just five tables left in the level, some food had arrived and the aforementioned trio tucked in.

"Look who got the Jesus seat!" said David "Bakes" Baker who turned up at the table as the food was being distributed.

"I'm gonna be stealing all your blinds while you're eating," continued Baker, making himself comfortable at the table and eyeing up the stacks of Mercier and Deeb, seated to his direct right.

"I eat and play a lot," said Deeb, "Enough to know how to play hands while I'm eating!"
