Addamo Bounces Back

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Earlier today, Michael Addamo lost a big flip and was down to a mere 7,000, but that has since changed and the Australian moved back up. Addamo raised from under the gun and the player on the button three-bet to 6,500. Addamo was the only caller and check-called a continuation-bet for 7,000 on the {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop.

Both checked the {5-Spades} turn before Addamo shoved the {J-Clubs} river for 29,500. That move got through as his opponent folded. Other notables on that table include Stephen Chidwick, Michael Wang and Moritz Dietrich.

Alvarado Takes from Yaroshevskyy

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Kristen Bicknell played another tournament and busted within five hands, then headed over to the Rio and late-registered Event #23: THE MARATHON - $2,620 No-Limit Hold'em. Bicknell is on a table with Rick Alvarado and Igor Yaroshevskyy right now and they were all in the hand with Yaroshevskyy as initial raiser and both called in the blinds.

The flop fell {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Yaroshevskyy continued for 3,200. Only Alvarado called before the {2-Spades} turn went check, check. On the {8-Hearts} river, Alvarado bet 8,500 and that won the pot.

De Silva and Nguyen Battle

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Scotty Nguyen

Upeshka De Silva and Scotty Nguyen found themselves battling over the same pot but only one could come out on top. With the board reading {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and around 11,000 in the pot, De Silva led out for 1,500 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Nguyen raised to 4,000. The button folded and the action was back on De Silva who made the call.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and De Silva moved all in, putting Nguyen and his 20,000 chip stack at risk. After looking annoyed, Nguyen ended up folding his hand and knuckling the table as De Silva pulled the chips closer to him. "You got me this time," Nguyen said to his opponent.

De Silva - 1, Nguyen - 0

Just an Ordinary Table

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The table line-up could also fit to a deep run in the World Series of Poker Main Event as regulars Dietrich Fast, Stefan Schillhabel, Usman Siddique, Chance Kornuth, and Dutch Boyd share the same table in the orange section. Fast started with the biggest stack and has since pulled even more.

Justin Bond Doubles Through Bartlomiej Machon

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Bartlomiej Machon limped the button and the small blind raised to 2,300. Justin Bond moved all in for 20,900 in the small blind and Machon called, the small blind folded.

Machon tabled the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Bond had a coin flip with {J-Spades}{9-Spades}. The flop came {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} and Bond joked, "That's a good flop," with the {K-Diamonds} turn and {3-Spades} river completing the board.

The same table also features Sebastian Pauli and Sam Cohen with above-average stacks.

The flop was {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{k-Hearts}.

Ho bet 2,500 and Lunkin called. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and a 6,000 bet from Ho saw Lunkin give up on the turn again. This time Ho did not show her cards.
