Neel Murthy Flops the Flush

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

John Phan was sitting in the under-the-gun position and raised to 6,000. Dietrich Fast (middle position), Neel Murthy (hijack) and Harry Lodge (big blind) all called.

The flop was {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Lodge checked, Phan bet 11,500 and Fast folded. Murthy then raised to 28,000, and Lodge folded. Phan thought for a while, and eventually the clock was called. The floor came to the table, but Phan already made the call.

The turn showed the {6-Clubs}. This time Phan check-called a 31,000 bet from Murthy.

The {6-Hearts} on the river completed the board and both players checked. Phan showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the flopped straight, but Murthy showed the {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the flopped flush. Murthy is now on about 310,000.
