Timoshenko Takes Out Mercier and Another

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

A middle position player limped, the hijack raised to 400 and Yevgeniy Timosheko from the small blind, Jason Mercier from the big blind and the middle position player all called.

The {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop was checked around by all four players.

On the {4-Clubs} turn, Mercier led out for 1,600. Timoshenko eyed the middle position player's stack and raised to 4,250, exactly how much the opponent had. The middle position player called all in, the hijack folded and Mercier called all in as well for his last 2,075.

Timoshenko: {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Mercier: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Timoshenko's set of threes was in the lead and it stayed that way on the {7-Hearts} river as he knocked out both Mercier and the other player.

Cada Takes a Hit

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Under the gun raised to 600. Joe Cada was in early position and called as did a player in middle position and the button.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and the player under the gun led for 500. Cada raised to 2,600 and after everyone else folded the original bettor called. The turn was the {k-Hearts} and Cada's opponent checked. Cada moved all in, and the UTG player called all in with a stack of 6,750.

Under the gun showed {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Cada tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Cada was ahead but had to fade a heart or some straight outs.
