There was an open to 5,500 before Timothy Chang three-bet to 13,500 and David Machowsky moved all in for 45,000.
The original raiser folded and Chang called with and was against Machowsky’s ace-king.
The flop delivered a spade flush draw which duly got there to bust Machowsky and give Chang a healthy lead over the other five players at his table.
“I had the perfect chip stack,” Chang said smiling as he referred to his call. The rest of the table didn’t seem to be enjoying his good fortune as much.
There are still several tables with six and seven players remaining, but Table 725 still has eight players with chips.
Benjamin Geisman and Toby Boas are the players who have busted, and it is Timothy Chang who has the lead at the table with 240,000 while Alexandru Masek heads the chasing pack as the second break approaches.
The first table to get down to three players is Table 723 which has been dominated most of the day by Matthew Haugen, but Ben Maya is on his heels with Chris Bell the man in the middle looking to make some hands soon.
