Adam Owen Scoops One

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Owen: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}

Adam Owen completed. He was raised by one player. Owen called. On fourth street, Owen bet, and his opponent called. Both players checked on fifth street. On sixth, Owen bet, and his opponent called. Owen bet once more on seventh, and the player called.

Owen showed {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for nines and sevens, and that was good for him to take down the entire pot.

Obst showed {6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a straight and an eight-seven low, and that was good enough to scoop.

Norman Chad
Norman Chad

Duong: {x-}{x-} / {A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} / {x-}
Chad: {x-}{x-} / {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} / {x-}

With the action already on fifth street, Norman Chad checked over to Jack Duong. Duong bet. A third player in the hand folded, but Chad called. Duong bet again on sixth, and Chad called once more. On seventh street, Duong bet again. Chad checked his cards, then eventually decided to call.

Duong showed {3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for two pair and a seven-low. Chad could only produce {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a pair of fives and slightly worse low, and that allowed Duong to scoop the pot.

Shack-Harris: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{9-Spades} / {x-}
Benyamine: {x-}{x-} / {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}

On seventh street, Brandon Shack-Harris was in the tank, and he was thinking about calling a bet that Benyamine had put out. There was already roughly 12,000 in the middle of the table, as well as over 6,000 worth of bets between Benyamine and Shack-Harris.

Shack-Harris thought pretty intently about the decision, then finally he decided to call.

Benyamine turned up {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a wheel.

"Nice hand," Shack-Harris said very quietly. He tapped the table, and the chips were sent Benyamine's way.

Grapenthien: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} / {x-}
Fal: {x-}{x-} / {4-Clubs}{J-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} / {x-}
Ahmed: {x-}{x-} / {3-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} — Folded

With a short stack, Matt Grapenthien completed, then called a raise by Nikolay Fal. Owais Ahmed called, as did Grapenthien.

On fourth street, Ahmed checked to Grapenthien, who bet, and both players called. On fifth, Grapenthien took the betting lead, and he bet. Only Fal called. Fal called another bet on sixth street.

Grapenthien bet once more on seventh street, putting him all in. Fal picked his cards up, looked at them a bit, turned up the {2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, then folded. Grapenthien showed the {8-Clubs} for quads.

"Not a bad hand to be all in with," he said.
