Wasserson Calls Monnette's Hand, Calls Anyway

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Wasserson: {x-}{x-} / {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} / {x-}
Monnette: {x-}{x-} / {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} / {x-}

On fifth street, John Monnette checked over to Eric Wasserson. Wasserson bet, and Monnette Raised. Wasseron called, putting the total bets in front of each player at 7,200 apiece. On sixth, both players checked.

Monnette sweated his card on seventh.

"Oh no, please don't tell me you filled up," Wasserson said as he studied Monnette.

Monnette then bet.

"Jesus Christ," Wasserson said. "Wait, I could win."

Wasserson thought for a bit and eventually decided to call. Monnette showed {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for a full house, and Wasserson mucked.

"I knew you filled up on the river," Wasserson said. "And I called with trips anyways."

Wasserson was forced to send over 9,600 to Monnette and looked visibly frustrated doing so.

Konstantin Maslak Eliminated by Esther Taylor

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Maslak: {8-}{3-} / {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts} / {x-}
Taylor: {a-Spades}{2-Hearts} / {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-} / {x-}

Konstantin Maslak raised on third street, and Esther Taylor reraised. Maslak called, then check-called a bet on fourth street. Taylor made open fours on fifth street. With Maslak short, Taylor bet, and the pair proceeded to get the rest of Maslak's chips into the middle.

Maslak picked up a low draw on sixth street, but Taylor drew the {7-Spades} on seventh street to give her a pair of fours and a seven-six low.

The Russian needed to find a pair bigger than Taylor's fours to grab half of the pot, but he drew the {4-Diamonds} and was eliminated.

"This is Why I Play Online!"

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Grospellier: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{K-Clubs} / {x-}
Zinno: {x-}{x-} / {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} / {x-}

On fourth street, Anthony Zinno bet, and Bertrand Grospellier called. Grospellier picked up the betting lead on fifth, and he bet. Zinno called. On sixth, Zinno grabbed the betting lead back, and he bet. Grospellier called. Zinno bet again on seventh, and Grospellier called again.

Zinno showed {6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a pair of threes and a low. It was almost good, because Grospellier just about mucked his hand, then pulled it back and flipped it over, just to make sure he wasn't making a mistake. He showed his hand and did, in fact, have a better low than Zinno. That allowed him to take back at least half the pot.

"That's an embarrassment," Norman Chad said to Grospellier.

"This is why I play online!" Grospellier said. "They do everything for you! Can't make a mistake."

Everyone laughed as the two chopped the pot.

Shaun Deeb Left Short After Tangling with Viacheslav Zhukov; Busts Shortly After

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Deeb: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} / {x-}

Zhukov: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts} / {x-}

On fourth street both Viacheslav Zhukov and Shaun Deeb checked to John Turner who bet. Both other players called. Zhukov bet on fifth street and got two callers.

On sixth street Zhukov bet again, Deeb called and Turner folded. On seventh street Zhukov bet, Deeb raised and Zhukov called.

Deeb showed {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. "No good," said Zhukov, showing {10-Hearts}{k-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for a Broadway straight.

Deeb was left very short, and although doubling up in the very next hand through Jon Turner, he bust shortly thereafter.

They're Starting To Get on Chad's Nerves; Singer on the Rise

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Singer: {x-}{x-} / {3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} / {x-}
Chad: {x-}{x-} / {9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{K-Spades}{2-Hearts} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} / {x-}

On fifth street, Norman Chad and David Singer checked to a third player in the pot. He bet, and both Singer and Chad called.

"You're starting to get on my nerves!" Chad said, pointing a finger at the player.

"How about you raise me?!" the player said. "Then I can fold."

On sixth, both Chad and Singer checked again to the third player. He bet, and Chad and Singer called.

On seventh, all three players checked. Singer showed {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs} for eights and fives, and that was good for him to take down the whole pot.
