Ryan Laplante Sends One Home

Level 6 : 200/400, 0 ante

PLO bracelet winner Ryan Laplante got all the chips into the middle against a single opponent on a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, and Laplante had the larger of the two stacks.

Laplante: {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-}{A-}{8-}{2-}

Laplante had the best of it by miles with nines full of tens, and his opponent needed help from the deck in order to save his stack. The {6-Hearts} turn and {4-Diamonds} river changed nothing, and Laplante took the pot to eliminate his opponent.

Hunter Cichy Felts Justin Bonomo in Three-Way All-In

With about 20,000 chips already in the middle and the board reading {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Hunter Cichy bet 15,000 from the small blind, putting Justin Bonomo, in the hijack, to a decision for the remainder of his stack. Bonomo called to put himself at risk, the player in the cutoff put his stack in, as well, and all three players tabled their hands.

Bonomo: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Cutoff: {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Cichy: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The player in the cutoff had the lead with two pair, but the board filled out with the {7-Clubs} on the turn and {J-Clubs} on the river to give Cichy the nut flush and send both players home.

After a flurry of preflop activity, three players saw a flop of {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} with about 6,000 chips in the pot. Action checked all the way around, and the turn brought the {J-Spades}. The under-the-gun player checked, as did the cutoff, and Esther Taylor bet 2,200. Both of her opponents quickly folded, and she took the pot.

Joe Hachem Climbing

Four players saw a flop of {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} in a limped pot, and action checked all the way through.

The turn brought the {4-Hearts}, and the small blind bet 800. Joe Hachem called from the big blind, one player folded, and the button called.

The river was the {10-Clubs}, and the small blind bet again — 2,500 this time. Hachem called, the button folded, and Hachem tabled {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} for bottom set, which was good enough to win the pot.

Dmitry Yurasov, who won a WSOP bracelet in Event #42: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Championship earlier this week, just took down a pot.

With the board reading {J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and 3,600 in the middle, the small blind checked and Yurasov bet 1,800 from the big blind. The player in the cutoff raised to 4,000, the small blind folded, and Yurasov called. They went heads up to the {J-Hearts} turn and both players checked. The river was the {7-Hearts} and Yurasov checked again. His opponent bet 5,000 and after thinking for a couple minutes, Yurasov tossed in a single chip to call the bet.

His opponent flashed {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a pair of sixes and Yurasov's {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a king-high flush was good.

Ryan Laplante raised to 700 in middle position and got called by the cutoff and the button. The flop came {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, and all three players checked. On the {2-Diamonds} turn, Laplante bet 1,800, the cutoff folded, and the button called. On the {K-Spades} river, Laplante checked, and his opponent checked back.

Laplante tabled {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for aces and kings, good for the pot.
