Joey Ingram

Joey Ingram raised to 500 from the button, and Jon Turner called from the big blind.

The flop came {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, and Turner checked. Ingram bet 650, and Turner called. The turn brought the {7-Spades}, and Turner checked again. Ingram bet 800, and Turner called. The {2-Spades} fell on the river, and Turner bet 2,200.

Ingram called and quickly tabled {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for the nut flush, Turner mucked, and Ingram took the pot.

Phil Laak

Another recent addition to the field is a very recognizable face in the poker world, Phil Laak.

Just now, with the board reading {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {6-Spades} and 6,300 in the middle, Laak checked from the big blind and his lone opponent in middle position bet 2,300. Laak thought it over briefly and tossed in calling chips.

His opponent promptly mucked, surrendering the pot to Laak, who took the pot without showing his cards.

Daniel Zack Doubles Through Jeff Madsen

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

With about 12,000 chips already in the middle and the board reading {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, Jeff Madsen bet 12,000 from the small blind to put Daniel Zack, who was in the cutoff, to a decision for the remainder of his stack. Zack went into the tank for over a minute before he ultimately called.

Zack: {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Madsen: {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Zack had the lead with his jack-high straight against Madsen's two pair, the {K-Diamonds} on the river was no help to Madsen, and Zack took the pot to double up.

Loren Klein Wins with Broadway

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante
Loren Klein
Loren Klein

Loren Klein raised to 500 in middle position, the button called, and so did both blinds. The flop was {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and the blinds checked. Klein bet 1,400, the button called, and the blinds folded.

Both players checked the {Q-Clubs} turn and the {3-Spades} river, and Klein's {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for Broadway was best.

Sam Soverel Stacks Adam Owen

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Adam Owen

Adam Owen raised to 525 from the hijack, Sam Soverel three-bet to 1,800 from the button, and Owen called.

The flop came {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Owen checked. Soverel bet 1,000 and Owen called.

The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Owen checked again. Soverel bet once more, 3,300 this time, and Owen check-raised all in for a total of 11,475. After brief contemplation, Soverel called to put Owen at risk and the cards were on their backs.

Soverel: {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Owen: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Soverel had the lead with two pair and a straight draw, and Owen needed help from the river in order to preserve his tournament life. The {4-Spades} gave Soverel the winning straight to scoop the pot and send Owen to the rail.
