Hoang Up to 400k

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Benjamin Eilers limped in from middle position and John Monnette called in the cutoff. Kate Hoang completed from the small blind and Gregory Wry checked his option.

The flop landed {5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Hoang bet out 10,000 with only Monnette calling.

The turn landed the {2-Diamonds} and Hoang bet 20,000. Monnette thought for a few moments before eventually folding.

Hoang Gets There, Busts Miller

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Ari Engel raised to 10,000 preflop and got three callers. On the {7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, everyone checked to Ryan Miller who potted last to act for 42,000. Three folds later, only Kate Hoang stood between Miller and the pot. She shoved all in, though, and Miller called off about 75,000 that he had behind.

Hoang: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Miller: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Spades}

Miller's trips led for the moment, but Hoang could hit a lot of cards to win or chop. The {9-Hearts} gave her the lead with a flush, and the {9-Clubs} river did not improve Miller.

Soulier Wins a Small One

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

The action folded to Fabrice Soulier in the cutoff and he limped in. Scott Clements called on the button and Jonathan Duhamel completed from the small blind as Dominik Baud checked his option from the big.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and each player checked to see the {Q-Diamonds} revealed on the turn.

Soulier bet 15,000 and his three opponents swiftly mucked.

Leah Chips Way Up

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Mike Leah
Mike Leah

Mike Leah moved all in for his last 13,000 on a completed board of {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}. There was already a massive pot of about 150,000 in the middle, and one opponent called on the button. Another did likewise in the small blind, and Leah tabled {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for the nut flush.

It was good, as one player held {a-}{q-}{6-}{2-} for trip queens and the other {k-}{k-}{j-}{9-} for trip jacks.

From early position, Randen Honigman raised pot to 14,000 and the action folded to Gary Bolden in the big blind. Bolden pushed out a stack of chips and Honigman tossed in his final 3,000.

Bolden: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and Honigman doubled through to 36,000 in chips.

Yamron Triples Up

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Dario Sammartino raised to 7,500 first to act and got a call from Sean Remz on the button. Bruce Yamron potted for all but his last T$1,000 chip in the small blind, and both Sammartino and Remz called. Yamron put in his last 1,000 blind and both Sammartino and Remz called on the {j-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop. Sammartino checked the {7-Spades} turn and Remz bet 45,000. Sammartino called. Both checked the {j-Diamonds} river.

"Flush," Sammartino said, tabling {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}.

Remz couldn't beat it, but Yamron certainly could as he had {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for jacks full.
