Jesse Martin

Jesse Martin was eliminated after a series of hands that eventually sent him to the rail in 15th place.

He got three bets in preflop with Max Silver and the flop came {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Silver bet and Martin called. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and both players checked. The river was the {a-Diamonds} and Silver led. Martin called, leaving only 15,000 behind. Silver won the hand with queens, {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

The next hand, David Olson eliminated Martin with {k-}{j-} when he flopped top pair. Martin will take home $7,821.

Frank Kassela Eliminated in 16th Place ($7,821)

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Frank Kassela
Frank Kassela

Frank Kassela lost seemingly every hand he played when coming back from dinner break. He was disappointed that he folded a big hand after building a huge pot four ways heading to the flop.

On his final hand, Ayman Qutami raised, and Kassela three-bet. Mickey Craft four-bet from the small blind, and Kassela was the lone caller.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and Craft bet. Kassela raised all in, and Craft called with {j-}{j-}. Kassela showed {k-}{q-} and asked the dealer to give Craft a set, which would give Kassela a straight.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and the river was the {q-Hearts}, and Craft won the hand with a straight. Kassela was eliminated in 16th place and will take home ($7,821).

Mickey Craft Rivers It

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Frank Kassela opened with a raise from the button, and Mickey Craft defended from the big blind.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, and Craft check-called a bet from Kassela. The turn was the {q-Clubs}, and the action repeated itself. The river was the {4-Spades}, and Craft checked again. Kassela bet, and Craft raised. Kassela called, and Craft showed {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for two pair.

During the dinner break, Kassela sat down with the PokerNews Podcast and recorded an interview. The podcast should be out soon.
