Korn Deals Blow to Vanier

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Mike Vanier raised on the button and Norberto Korn defended his big blind. The flop was {10-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Korn checked. Vanier bet 50,000, Korn put in a big check-raise to 215,000, and Vanier called.

Korn continued his aggression on the {J-Spades} turn, opting for a bet of 205,000. Vanier once again made the call in position. The river was the {2-Diamonds} and both players checked.

"Two pair," said Korn, who opened up {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Vanier folded his hand and slipped to less than 20 big blinds.
