Another Double-Up, This Time it's Cabrera

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The short stacks have all been doubling up in the first 30 minutes of the day, resulting in no eliminations thus far. Sergio Cabrera was the latest to collect a double-up.

After Mike Vanier had opened to 27,000 from under the gun, Cabrera moved in for his last 201,000 two seats over. Vanier gave it around 30 seconds of thought before calling it off.

Cabrera: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Vanier: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

Cabrera had it locked up after the turn on a {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades} board.

Zullo Flops Set, Engel Pays

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mark Zullo is instantly back on the right track after flopping a set and getting fully paid by Ari Engel. Holding {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} on the button, Zullo and Engel saw a {5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop appear. Engel checked, Zullo bet 35,000, and Engel called.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Engel check-called a bet of 80,000. On the {Q-Clubs} river, Engel checked, Zullo shoved 201,000, and Engel instantly called it off with {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, giving Zullo the full double-up.
