While we didn't catch the action of the hand, we came to the table with Eric Wasserson showing

for a straight and a low. He had a bet of 7,600 in front of him that Madsen was forced to pay off. Madsen counted out the chips and was left with just 4,400.
As Madsen was passing over the chips, Brandon Cantu approached the table and sat down.
"Oh, now you're here," Madsen said to Cantu.
"Yeah," Cantu replied. "Maybe I can turn it around for you."
"I had ace-five and a set," Madsen said to Cantu about the hand.
Big O
Christopher Vitch raised to 350. Jerome Middendorf called from the small blind, as did Jason Mercier from the big blind.

. It checked to Vitch who bet 800. Middendorf called and Mercier folded.

After having a great start in the first few levels and building up his stack, Usman Siddique just took a big hit from another player at his table.
David Bach raised from under the gun to 400. He was called by a player in the cutoff before Siddique made it 1,300 to play from the small blind. Bach and the cutoff both called.
On the 
flop, action checked around to the 
on the turn. Siddique led out with a bet of 800 and only got a call from the cutoff.
The river was the and Siddique checked over to the cutoff player. He put out a large bet of 4,900. Siddique thought for a long while before putting out a call. The cutoff showed and, after seeing the set, Siddique mucked his hand and the cutoff was awarded the pot.

"I'm pretty sure that Chris [Bjorin] had played more hands of this game than all of us before 1982!" said Frank Kassela.
"The Swedish Championships are still played in five-card draw, and it's been over 40 years!" said Bjorin.
Kassela opened to 300 and tablemate Ryan Riess three-bet from the button to 1,000. Kassela called and drew two while Riess drew one.
Both players checked.
"One pair," said Kassela. Riess waited until Kassela had turned over 
before Riess showed

No-Limit 5 Card Draw
A player raised under the gun to 400 and he was three-bet by Frank Kassela on the button to 1,200. The player called.
The under-the-gun player drew two while Kassela took one, then both players checked. Kassela showed 
for two pairs and that was good for him to take down the pot as his opponent mucked.
Big O
Brian Rast raised to 350 from the hijack seat and was called by players in both the small and big blinds. On the 
flop, all three players checked.
The turn was the and the small blind checked over to the big blind who put out a bet of 650. Rast called as did the small blind.
Action checked over to Rast on the . He bet 2,500 and earned two folds from his opponents, allowing him to take down the pot with no showdown.

Those were the words written on a box of bundt cake sat in the middle of the $2,500 Big Bet Mix table. The cake, a present from Briana Ohel to her husband Randy from their two children, had already been dug into by Ohel himself, and then by nearby players such as Jon Turner and Mike Matusow.
Ohel said that he had told tournament staff and officials that they were welcome to a piece, and no sooner had he said it there was an official announcement that there was cake.
Ismael Bojang and Eric Wasserson were two of the players who quickly headed toward the table, as well as Jason Mercier, who insisted that it was a present for his wife Natasha.
Brandon Shack-Harris? No such luck. By the time he had gotten to the table, the cake was gone, eliminated from the tournament by hungry mixed-game players.
