Hands #28-32: Another Double for Haralabob

Level 22 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante

Hand#28: Chris Moore raised to 535,000 in middle position. Rainer Kempe jammed in the small blind for about 2.5 million and won the pot.

Hand #29: Moore raised again to 535,000 and, this time, Doug Polk defended his big blind.

Both players checked the flop and Polk fired big with 815,000 on a board of {6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Moore folded in short order.

Hand #30: Martin Jacobson raised early to 525,000 and won.

Hand #31: Andrew Robl shoved it in from the cutoff and everyone behind folded without a second thought.

Hand #32: Haralabos Voulgaris raised to 650,000 on the button and Moore shoved all in from the small blind. Jacobson mucked, but Voulgaris snap-called with {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Moore turned over {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

The flop, turn, and river came {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} to give Voulgaris the double-up.

Players went on a 20-minute break at the conclusion of the hand.

Hands #26-27: Sammartino Rising, Kempe Falling

Level 22 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante

Hand #26: Doug Polk raised to 525,000 from middle position and collected the blinds and antes.

Hand #27: Dario Sammartino raised to 550,000 from the button and Rainer Kempe defended his big blind.

They checked to the turn of an {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} board where Kempe bet 480,000. Sammartino called, the {10-Hearts} river completed the board, and Kempe bet 840,000. Sammartino called.

Kempe showed {9-Spades}{5-Hearts} for a pair of fives, but Sammartino tabled {A-Hearts}{8-Spades} for a pair of eights to win the pot.

Mike Kamran Eliminated in 9th Place ($312,006)

Level 22 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante
Mike Kamran - 9th place
Mike Kamran - 9th place

Hand #25: Mike Kamran raised all in from the cutoff for about 1,050,000 and Dario Sammartino called from the big blind with {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}, leading Kamran's {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}.

The board came down {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, not enough help to Kamran, ending his tournament in ninth place.

Hands #21-24: Voulgaris and Robl Double

Level 22 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante

Hand #21: Mike Kamran opened for 530,000 under the gun and Haralabos Voulgaris defended his big blind.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{k-Spades}{a-Hearts} and Kamran bet 500,000. Voulgaris shoved all in and Kamran snap-called.

Kamran: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Voulgaris: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Voulgaris had outflopped his foe, and the {2-Hearts} hit the turn, meaning Kamran needed a four, king, or queen to chop or win. The {2-Spades} improved Voulgaris though, and he doubled through for most of Kamran's stack.

Hand #22: Dario Sammartino raised to 550,000 in middle position and won the pot.

Hand #23: Sammartino raised to 550,000 second to act, and Andrew Robl shoved all in for 1,805,000 in the hijack. Sammartino called after getting a count.

Sammartino: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Robl: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Robl had the lead and the {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} kept it that way. Even better for him, an {a-Spades} turn locked it in, making the {j-Clubs} river meaningless.

Hand #24: Chris Moore shoved from the small blind with the bigger stack and Martin Jacobson folded his big blind.

Hand #18: Dario Sammartino raised to 550,000 from the button, Bertrand Grospellier three-bet to 1,660,000 from the small blind, and Sammartino tanked for about three minutes before he folded.

Hand #19: Martin Jacobson raised to 525,000 from the hijack and Andrew Robl called from the big blind.

The flop came down {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and Robl checked to Jacobson who bet 525,000. Robl called after about two minutes to see the {9-Spades} turn and checked again. Jacobson bet 820,000, Robl called after about three minutes, and the {2-Clubs} river completed the board. Both players checked.

Robl showed {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a pair of aces, but Jacobson had it beat with {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for kings and jacks.

Hand #20: Martin Jacobson raised to 525,000 from middle position and Doug Polk called from the big blind.

The flop was {K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Polk check-called 450,000 from Jacobson to see the {3-Spades} turn. Polk checked, Jacobson bet 1,000,000, Polk check-raised all in for 4,465,000, and Jacobson tanked for about four minutes before he folded.

"Got one through!" yelled Polk.
