Level 15 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to Moritz Dietrich in the small blind, and he shoved for 490,000. Big blind Antonio Esfandiari said, "Let's peek together" as he leaned towards Dietrich while lifting up his first card. The two of them saw the second card together, and Esfandiari instantly called.

Moritz Dietrich: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Antonio Esfandiari: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, and Dietrich doubled.

Carrel Doubles Through Peters

Level 15 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Charlie Carrel shoved all in first to act for what looked to be 760,000, and David Peters called from a couple of seats over.

Carrel: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Peters: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Carrel said he was hoping to see tens, but this would work. Sure enough, {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flopped to give him the lead. The {3-Diamonds} brought a sweat on the turn as Peters picked up a flush draw. The river: {7-Clubs}, safe for Carrel.

In the midst of it all was a discussion about the Voulgaris/Colman hand. Voulgaris swore up and down he had {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, while Colman claimed to have mucked a flush.

"Such a Monster, It's Sick!"

Level 15 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to Phil Galfond on the button, and he opened to 110,000. Big blind Antonio Esfandiari called and checked on the {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop. Galfond bet 115,000, followed by a check-raise to 310,000 from Esfandiari. Galfond called.

Both checked the {7-Hearts} on the turn before the {6-Clubs} on the river made for a four-to-a-straight board. Esfandiari checked, and Galfond bet 460,000 with 1,180,000 behind.

"What you got, Mister Galfond?" Esfandiari asked, "Got a straight?"

Esfandiari tanked some more, said "Such a monster, it's sick!", and folded.

As told to us by Martin Jacobson, Stephen Chidwick committed his remaining 500,000-ish with {A-}{K-} in early position and found action from Haralabos Voulgaris in middle position with {A-}{J-}.

Running spades on the turn and river made a flush for Voulgaris, ending Chidwick's tournament.

Twenty-eight players remain, and they will play until 24 remain.

Voulgaris Jams the River

Level 15 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Dan Colman opened for a min-raise in middle position, and Haralabos Voulgaris defended his big blind. Voulgaris check-called 100,000 on the flop and 250,000 on the turn as the board ran out {2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Finally, he checked a third time and then shoved all in when Colman bet 275,000 on the river. Colman grimaced and asked for a count. It was 485,000 more.

"That's a fold," Voulgaris said with a smile as Colman held his hand up. He did indeed muck.
