On a board reading {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Hearts}, with about 6,000 in the pot, Cliff Josephy was all in for is last 3,825 from middle position.

His opponent was in late position and went into the tank for about a minute before tossing in some chips to call.

Josephy tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for aces full of queens and his opponent mucked.

Josephy is now back above the starting stack and is back in the hunt for yet another WSOP bracelet.

Hilton Laborda Doubles Twice to Get Back in It

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

Hand #1: A Lucky River

Hilton Laborda was all in for his last 2,000 chips from early position and got action from the player in the cutoff. Laborda was at risk with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} while his opponent held {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. The board ran out {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Laborda cheered as he hit one of the two remaining tens in the deck to double up.

Hand #2: Cracking Jacks

Laborda raised to 400 from under the gun and the very same opponent three-bet to 1,300 from the hijack. Laborda called. The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Laborda checked. His opponent moved all in and Laborda snap-called for his last 2,725. He tabled {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for top pair, well ahead of his opponent's {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}. The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and the river was the {2-Hearts} to give Laborda a boat to double up.

John Cynn
John Cynn

John Cynn was stacking chips and his opponent was waiting to see if he had chips left after losing a big one.

Cynn had two red sixes in front of him, while his opponent had {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. The board read {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Cynn locked up the pot with a set, getting fortunate enough for his opponent to hit top pair and commit his stack. He now has almost double the starting stack with plenty to work with.
