Kim McClymont Rivers a Higher Set vs. Deborah Worley-Roberts to Stay Alive

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

Kim McClymont filled us in on the preflop action in her recent double-up. Deborah Worley-Roberts raised to 1,200 in middle position and McClymont went all in for 4,900 in the small blind. The big blind folded and Worley-Roberts called to put McClymont at risk.

Worley-Roberts was behind with pocket sixes against McClymont's pocket nines, but she flopped a set on the {K-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop. The {Q-Hearts} turn changed nothing, but the {9-Hearts} came on the river to give McClymont a higher set. McClymont shouted with joy and surprise as she was standing to make her exit, and sat back down to collect the double-up.

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante
Oanh Bui
Oanh Bui

Oanh Bui raised to 1,200 from the under-the-gun position and Molly Mossey shoved all in from the hijack for her remaining 3,275. Action folded back to Bui.

"I think I am massively behind," Bui said, but she still called.

Mossey: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Bui: {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Clubs} — no help for Mossey — and she was eliminated by Bui.

Jana de la Cerra Flops Trips, Sends One Home

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

Jana de la Cerra was raking in yet another pot. According to players at the table, the cutoff raised to 1,400 and De la Cerra called in the small blind. The flop came {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and both players checked. On the {3-Diamonds} turn, De la Cerra checked, Her opponent bet 2,000, and De la Cerra check-raised to 4,700.

The river was the {3-Clubs}, pairing the board, and De la Cerra moved all in. Her opponent had around 14,000 left, and after thinking for a long while, she called with {A-}{J-}.

De la Cerra tabled {7-Spades}{4-Spades} for sevens full of threes to eliminate her opponent and climb to the top of the counts.

Heidi May Knocks One Out

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante
Heidi May
Heidi May

After losing a chunk of her stack in the level after dinner break, Heidi May just got some back.

On a flop of {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, her opponent in the small blind moved all in for 5,900 and May called in the big blind.

May was ahead with {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a pair of jacks against her opponent's {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. The {J-Hearts} turn gave May trips, and the {5-Spades} improved her to a full house. She knocked out her opponent and got some chips back.
