Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Tony Ruberto bet 35,000 from the big blind on a {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Spades} flop. Alexander Debus called from middle position and both players checked the {5-Hearts} and {10-Clubs}. Ruberto announced eights and tabled {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, and Debus couldn't beat them.

Dominik Nitsche Wins Without Showing Down

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Dominik Nitsche
Dominik Nitsche

With about 100,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, a player in middle position checked to Dominik Nitsche in the cutoff and he bet 40,000. The middle-position player called.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and Nitsche's opponent checked. Nitsche checked behind.

The river was the {Q-Clubs} and Nitsche's opponent checked. After some consideration, Nitsche checked behind and his opponent mucked instantly. After confirming with the dealer that he didn't have to show his hand, Nitsche mucked too and took the chips which put his stack over the 1,000,000-chip mark.

"I Make Four Jacks. Every Time!"

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

With about 80,000 in the pot, on a board reading {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}, a player in early position checked and Daniel Turner made it 40,000 to go on the button. His opponent called.

The turn was the {3-Spades}. The early-position player checked and Turner bet 95,000 this time. His opponent asked for a count and eventually open-folded {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens and an open-ended straight draw. Turner showed {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a set of jacks and raked in the pot.

While Turner was stacking his chips a player at the table asked, "If he goes all-in what do you do?" Turner replied, "Oh I call." The player asked, "What if he had ace-ten of spades?" Turned exclaimed, "I make four jacks. Every time!"

Ankush Mandavia Sends One Home

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Ankush Mandavia
Ankush Mandavia

Ankush Mandavia raised to 13,000 from under the gun, the button called, and the big blind three-bet jammed for about 140,000. Mandavia reshoved for about 500,000 and the button quickly got out of the way.

Mandavia: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Big blind: {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Mandavia had the preflop advantage but his opponent caught up on the {9-Diamonds}{6-}{5-Clubs} flop when he paired his five. The {10-Spades} on the turn was no help to Mandavia, but the {A-Spades} river gave him a pair of aces to win the pot and eliminate his opponent.
