Vukovic Can't Be Stopped

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Mladen Vukovic opened with a raise to 4,500 from the hijack seat and the player in the cutoff called. Action folded to the big blind where Jinah Min moved all in for 40,500 and action was back on Vukovic who tanked for sometime before raising. The cutoff quickly folded and the hands were tabled.

Mladen Vukovic: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
Jinah Min: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} which gave Vukovic a full house by the river and send Min to the rail. With that, Vukovic climbed to about 340,000 chips as his heater continued even further.

Wakeman Doubles Opponent

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Matt Wakeman raised to 4,000 from the hijack and was called by the player in the cutoff as well as the player in the big blind.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and the action checked to the cutoff who bet 16,000. Only Wakeman called.

The turn brought the {q-Clubs} and Wakeman checked. His opponent then moved all in for 34,000. Wakeman went into the tank for over a minute. He agonized over his decision before finally making the call.

Matt Wakeman: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Wakeman needed a queen on the river to chop the pot but it wouldn't come as the {4-Diamonds} completed the board giving his opponent the pot with two pair.

Mladen Vukovic Just Keeps Climbing

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On the turn the board was {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Michael O'Grady was first to act in a pot against Mladen Vukovic. O'Grady decided to lead, putting out a bet of 7,000. Vukovic called.

On the {K-Clubs} river, O'Grady slowed down and checked. Vukovic shrugged and checked behind.

"Eight," O'Grady announced. Vukovic then turned up his {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and that would be good to earn him the pot, pushing him to right around 290,000 and making him what appears to be the current chip leader in the tournament.

Guerin Takes a Small One From Coleman and Rubie

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Action folded to the button where Didier Guerin raised to 3,300. Julius Colman called in the small blind and Brendon Rubie called in the big blind.

The flop was {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and all three players checked to see the {Q-Clubs} on the turn. There all three players checked again.

On the {A-Spades} river, action checked over to Guerin who put out a bet of 6,900. Colman thought about it for a bit, then he called while Rubie folded. Guerin turned up his {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for two pair and it was good to earn him the pot. Colman did however flash his {A-Hearts} before sending his hand into the muck.
