Live from The Sportsman

Here in the elegant surroundings of the Sportsman Casino in Marble Arch, several white lights have been set up dispelling the warm orange glow from the circular chandeliers and replacing it with the kind of light you're not going to misread your hand by. Nine tables have been set up in here, and the players have just been granted entrance for some pre-play milling around. Keep up with the action live and direct, starting in five minutes or so.

Inside the Empire Casino
We're here at the brand new Empire Casino in the heart of London in the middle of the ever active Leicester Square. The venue is a hive of activity as the camera crews prepare for the days proceedings. Phil Hellmuth is seated at the televised feature table, and we will be keeping you updated on all the action as it unfolds.

Greetings from the Fifty!

We're at the very posh Fifty Casino on St. James' Street where in about forty minutes time, Day 1A of the WSOPE Main Event will get underway. Due to space constraints and the sheer number of entries, players will be spread across three casinos for Day 1 play-- the Empire, the Sportsman, and here at the Fifty.

Stay tuned to Poker News for live updates, chip counts, photos and video coverage of all your favorite pros who have put up £10,000 (that's $20,000 U.S. or €14,700!) to take part in this historic event.
