That sounds like it could be a banjotastic country song, but it's the way Paul Jackson has been dramatically adding to and subtracting from his small stack. Just now he reraised button raiser (and neighbour and fellow Dusk Till Dawn sponsoree -- no soft play here) Dave Colclough all in preflop. Dave passed showing A-9 while Jackson showed 8-8.
Moments later, and Jackson was reraising Paul Ephremsen from 4,500 to 11k total preflop. A think and look at the Jackson stack (less than 10k remaining) and Ephremsen opted for the call.
Flop: . Ephremsen bet out 10k pretty fast, and Jackson insta-folded face-up. He was shown for his trouble.
The last stand was again, moments later, when Jackson ran into the queens of Joe Le, his ace-big-kicker missing everything.

The Shark Nevermore
Humberto Brenes open-shoved UTG for 10,000. Matthew Gilbert instantly moved all in. Action folded around to Erick Lindgren in the big blind. He went into the tank for a couple of minutes.
"You pushed so quickly," Lindgren commented. "What do you have, 42,000?"
He asked the dealer to count down Gilbert's stack. Gilbert had 41,900. Lindgren agonzied for another minute before he relunctantly folded. Gilbert instantly tabled his cards and showed .
"I got two," screamed Brenes. "Two twos!"
Brenes flipped over . He immediately asked the dealer for a two. The flop was . Brenes said, "Please, the king of hearts."
The dealer slowly burned, then turned over the . Gilbert turned a set, but Brenes picked up a flush draw.
"Ahhh!" he screamed. "Now give me the queen of hearts!"
The river was the and Brenes' hand did not improve. He headed to the rail. Gilbert increased his stack to over 52,000.

Straight after the end of the dinner break, we lost Spaniard Oscar Blanco. He moved all in preflop with . Jani Sointula (Finland) quickly called with . The flop was . The turn was the and the river was the . Sointula's plays, counterfeiting Blanco's pocket fours. Blanco busted out and Sointula increased his stack to 60,000.

We talked to Vicky about the WSOP coming to London, her table draw, and one young player who is particularly impressing her.

No further interest from Lisandro, and Jackson may be on life support but it's humming away nicely.
