Folding a Flush Draw

Jamie Gold has dropped to 77k, last seen folding to a 20k bet from Dominic Kay with a {6-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{K-Clubs} board and 60k in the pot.

"I'm getting 3-to-1 and I'm folding," says Gold shaking his head. "Maybe if I'd acted quicker, but I know now that I'm not going to get paid if I hit."

"I was hoping you'd call," says Dominic.

"Yeah, but you're not hoping I make my flush," replies Jamie.

Patrick Jouven Survives an All-in

Because he wasn't called preflop. It was still a tense hand, as Patrick Jouven raised to 9k on the button and found Theo Jorgensen reraising to 27k out of the big blind. Jouven announced, "All in," before Jorgensen's chips had been reached for by the dealer, and he took it down -- but only after the kind of pause that brings players from other tables scurrying to see if they're on the bubble yet.

Other action on table Duke/Lindgren/Riisem has been restricted to a couple of checked-down hands and pots taken with preflop raises (mainly by Terry Cook).

Lee Nelson

Kenny Tran opened the pot for 9,000 from middle position, Lee Nelson moved all in for 50,000 from the button and Tran called. Nelson turned over {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} while Tran showed {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}. The flop was boffo for Tran-- {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}, bringing him an instant full house. The turn was the {10-Spades}, the river was the {4-Hearts}, and Nelson shook his opponent's hand before heading for the rail.

After the hand, Tran was up to 145,000.
