Shaun Needham Busted by Tino Lechich in 28th (£27,150)

Shaun Needham - 28th
Shaun Needham - 28th
A giant pot became the focus of every camera in the room as Aleksander Vathne raised preflop, again, and Shaun Needham moved all-in (again, this time for just over 100k). Then Tino Lechich in the small blind went into the tank, and both players interested in the hand were watching as he contemplated the chips in front of him. He called, eventually, for about half his stack.

Back to Vathne, whom we all expected to get out of the way, but he re-raised all in. Tino Lechich dwelled once more, this time for longer, and eventually said that he called. Threeway on-their-backs!

Shaun Needham: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Tino Lechich: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Aleksander Vathne: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

Flop: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{J-Clubs} "Yes!" shouted a happy Lechich
Turn: {9-Diamonds} Tino jumps out of his seat, scattering cameramen
River: {7-Diamonds} "YEEEEES!" screams Lechich at a volume we are unused to at this time of the morning.

New chip leader: Tino Lechich - around half a million in chips; Needham - out.
