Day 1b Concludes; Onwards to Day 2

Well, that went quickly.

Today's 313 runners imploded over the nine-and-a-quarter levels played today, and as the chips are bagged and tagged it looks as though we have just 50 remaining. Among the folks who didn't make it were a veritable bunch of famous poker faces, including Phil Ivey, Barny Boatman, John Tabatabai, Annette Obrestad, Liv Boeree, Allen Cunningham... The list goes on, and we refer you to the "Busted" section of the chip counts page to that end.

Those who managed not to bust today, though, include:

- Big stacks Chris Ferguson, Nicolas Levi

- Medium stacks John Juanda, Padraig Parkinson

- Smaller stacks Jeff Lisandro, David Docherty

The biggest stacks at the end of play today seem to be Fabien Dunlop on 64,000 and the very entertaining Stephane Hansen on around 45,000 -- nowhere near the 99,000 that JP Kelly ended up Day 1a with, but tomorrow is another day.

Join us from 2pm GMT+1 tomorrow when today's survivors will join with the 40 players who made it through Day 1a in an attempt to play right down to a final table.
