MacPhee Loses Out To Guenegou Again

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Kevin MacPhee and Thibaud Guenegou have just tangled again and the latter came away with the chips once more.

On a {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop, MacPhee bet 1,200 and Guenegou quickly called. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and both players checked. The dealer put the {4-Spades} on the river and MacPhee bet 2,250 and was snap-called by his opponent.

Guenegou{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

I make that 2-0 to Guenegou

Lamb Climbing

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

From under the gun, Ben Lamb raised to 750. Lance Steinberg called from the under-the-gun-plus-one position and then Jean Pasqualini called from the button. The three of them took the {8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and Lamb was first to act. He bet 1,650 and both of his opponents folded.

With this pot, Lamb moved his stack to about 70,000.

Bonkowski Out

Tyler Bonkowski eliminated
Tyler Bonkowski eliminated

The short-stacked Tyler Bonkowski has been eliminated from the tournament. It just seemed every time we checked in on the 2011 World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner, his stack kept getting smaller.

More for Lamb

On the {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop, Ben Lamb fired 1,300 and Jean Pasqualini called before one other player folded.

The turn brought the {10-Hearts} and Lamb bet 3,000. Pasqualini called again.

The {K-Spades} hit on the river and Lamb bet 10,000. Pasqualini tanked long and hard, but in the end gave it up and Lamb won the pot.

Binger Busts Benyamine

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Nick Binger opened the betting with a raise to 725 from late position and after two players folded David Benyamine three-bet to 2,125. When both blinds got out of the way Binger made the call and the dealer got busy putting out the {3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop.

Binger lead into the Frenchman with a 2,700 bet, a bet that Benyamine quickly called. The {5-Hearts} on the turn initially slowed Binger down but after over a minute of thinking time he made it 5,600 to play and again Benyamine called, leaving himself around 7,000 behind.

The river was the {K-Diamonds}, completing a possible flush and Binger quickly bet 25,000 to put Benyamine all in. He made the call and showed {A-Spades}{K-Spades}, which was no match for the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} of Binger.

Benyamine collected his belongings, wished his former table mates good luck and headed for the rail.
