Another One Bites the Dust

Level 6 : 200/400, 0 ante

Four players including Vincent Moscati in the big blind and Ivo Donev from under the gun headed to the flop of {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked to the player one seat over from Donev, who bet 1,600. All three opponents called and the {7-Spades} appeared on the turn. Again Moscati and Donev checked and the pot-sized bet of 7,900 followed.

The button called all in for 6,800 while Moscati and Donev quickly got out of the way. The button had {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for top two pair only to see his opponent turn over {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for bottom set. A blank {K-Spades} river changed nothing and yet another player ran out of chips. James Akenhead joined the action on the same table, having registered not long ago.

Lisandro Busts One

Level 6 : 200/400, 0 ante
Jeff Lisandro
Jeff Lisandro

On the heads-up turn of {8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{K-Hearts}, Jeff Lisandro bet 2,000 from the big blind and the player in under the gun moved all in for 7,675. Lisandro called after brief consideration.

Opponent: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Jeff Lisandro: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The {4-Clubs} river turned the two pair of Lisandro into a full house and the opponent was done for now. Some table chat broke out right after with Ethem Tosun and Lisandro added "if he would have played his hand properly, raised preflop and raised the flop, I would have folded."

Zisimopoulos Rising

Level 6 : 200/400, 0 ante

Georgios Zisimopoulos sent Anatoliy Zyrin to the rail and joined the big stacks in level six while Mike Leah also further bumped his stack. The action has become a bit less frantic, but more than 70 bullets were already fired without success with the screens showing 95 players out of 170 entries remaining.

Racener Busts Again

Level 6 : 200/400, 0 ante

John Racener had barely sat down for another bullet when he got the stack in preflop and two other players also went at war for a three-way showdown.

Racener had the best of it preflop with the {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades} versus {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} but the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} to give one of the opponents quads.

Berude Doubles Through Israelashvili

Level 5 : 150/300, 0 ante

On the flop of {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Roland Israelashvili bet 2,500 and Rene Berude check-raised all in for 4,850 to see Israelashvili call.

Rene Berude: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Roland Israelashvili: {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

"Oh, I am in good shape," Israelashvili said only to add "not anymore" as soon as the {K-Clubs} fell on the turn. The {10-Diamonds} river was a mere formality and Berude doubled with the nut straight.

Donev's Stack is Rising

Level 5 : 150/300, 0 ante

Ivo Donev has built his stack up to almost four times the starting stack after being moved tables. One of the key hands saw him in the big blind with {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and he flopped the nut straight on a flop of {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}. Two opponents got it in, one holding the bottom end of the straight and the other an open-ended straight draw for the better straight with {J-}{10-}{9-}, however, both turn and river bricked.

Frank Forces Out Racener and Saliba

Level 5 : 150/300, 0 ante

The chips continue to fly from left to right and vice versa, and John Racener busted soon after giving up a three-way pot with Vivian Saliba and Martin Frank. The latter checked the {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and Racener bet 1,800, Saliba called and both folded to the check-raise of Frank for 8,000.

Racener busted soon after to Fahredin Mustafov on that very table and is expected to return with a fresh stack shortly.

Cohen Versus Leah

Level 5 : 150/300, 0 ante
Tal Cohen
Tal Cohen

Joining the action on the {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop, Mike Leah checked and called a bet of 650 by Tal Shemon Cohen before the {9-Hearts} appeared on the turn. Leah checked agaian and called a bet of 1,200 before checking the {9-Clubs} river.

Cohen eventually checked behind, admitting in table chat he was afraid of a check-raise by Leah, and tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} first before flashing his two other cards. Leah jokingly said "I raise" and showed the {9-Diamonds} for trips nines, then mucked {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the busted nut flush draw.

"That's what I was afraid of, the nine nine run out and you check raise me on the river."
