Lakhov Eliminated by Sapra

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Alexander Lakhov
Alexander Lakhov

Alexander Lakhov was all in for his remaining 4,800 chips. Sumit Sapra called from the hijack. Everyone else folded.

Sumit Sapra: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Alexander Lakhov: {8-Spades}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} - no help for Lakhov as Sapra hit top pair on the flop with a flush draw and hit the flush on the turn. And Lakhov has now been eliminated for the second and final time today.

Soderstrom Doubles Through Twito

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The flop was {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Tomas Soderstrom was all in for about 19,000. Liran Twito called.

Tomas Soderstrom: {Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Liran Twito: {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

Soderstrom had flopped a flush and Twito needed another diamond to make a better flush. The {2-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Clubs} on the river weren't the cards Twito wanted to see. Soderstrom, however, was happy enough to collect the new chips for his double up.

Farber Up and Down

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

Sidney Farber has been going up and down all day, and said he was rebuilding his stack again.

Mario Perati raised to 1,8000 from the under-the-gun position and the player in the hijack, Barny Boatman on the button, and Farber in the big blind, called.

They all checked through the {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} on the flop. The turn brought them the {5-Spades} and Farber now bet 1,300. Perati folded but the hijack raised to 4,100. Boatman checked his opponent's stack out and considered his options once more. He decided to call and so did Farber.

They all checked quickly when the {J-Spades} came on the river to complete the board. Farber was first to open his cards which were the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for top pair and that was good enough for the other two to muck their cards.

The pot currently was around 15,000 and Racener was all in for his remaining 9,200. Twito tanked but in the end opted to fold, and the pot went to Racener.

Olivieira Chipping Up

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante
Pedro Oliveira
Pedro Oliveira

Pedro Olivieira was down to 11,000 earlier today but has been climbing towards the top of the chip counts over the past levels.

The player in the cutoff raised to 1,300. The button three-bet to 4,200 but Olivieira, in the small blind, four-bet to 11,000. The cutoff folded and the button called.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Olivieira continued for 9,500. His opponent folded and Olivieira continued to add to his stack.
