Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Kopyl continued for 4,500. Hallaert called. The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and Kopyl bet 10,500 and Hallaert called again.

Kopyl checked the {3-Diamonds} river and Hallaert bet 26,000. Kopyl folded and Hallaert chipped up.

Assorted Pots

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Krasimir Yankov raised to 3,500 from the hijack and Michael Sklenicka defended his big blind.

Sklenicka check-called a bet of 3,000 on the {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop and both players checked the {a-Spades} turn. The river was the {k-Spades} and Sklenicka checked. Yankov bet 5,500 and Sklenicka called.

Yankov showed {k-Hearts}{10-Spades} for two pair, kings and aces and Sklenicka let out an exasperated gasp and showed {k-Clubs}{6-Spades} for, as he put it, "Three pair".

Meanwhile, Michal Krapinec opened to 3,500 in the cutoff and Mike Leah three-bet to 10,000 from the button. Krapinec folded and Leah took down the pot.

Mustafov vs Sklenicka

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Fahredin Mustafov
Fahredin Mustafov

On a {2-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board Fahredin Mustafov checked blind to opponent Michael Sklenicka who bet 4,400.

"You have a heart?" asked Mustafov, "Do you have one or two?" He called.

The river was the {8-Spades}. "I check blind," said Mustafov on seeing the river. Sklenicka bet 12,000.

"Hit the flush!" said Mustafov, "Do you have big flush or small flush?" Sklenicka remained silent. "See, now you don't speak!"

"No speak English," said Sklenicka, and the pair began to correspond in Czech.

In the end Mustafov folded and Sklenicka mucked face down.

"See? You don't fold. Never bluff, never bluff," said Mustafov,s howing {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

With just 38 players remaining, the average stack is just over 40,000 chips at 500/1,000 with an ante of 100. There continues to be a steady stream of eliminations.

Fahredin Mustafov knows all about being chip-leader after day 1, after he bagged big on Day 1A of the €550 Pot-Limit Omaha event, and he's in a good position to finish well here on Day 1A of THE COLOSSUS.
