Vrakas Causing a Ruckus

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

The player in mid-position raised to 1,500, Roberto Romanello shoved from the hijack for about 10,000 as he only sat down a few moments ago. Georgios Vrakas, in the small blind also shoved with a bigger stack. The big blind and the initial raised folded.

Georgios Vrakas: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Roberto Romanello: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{K-Spades}{2-Spades}{A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} - no help for Romanello and he needed to go back to the cashier to pay for a reentry.

"He also took chips from me! Marcel Luske said, sitting on Vrakas' right. "I limped in with kings, he raised to 2,000, I went all in. I gave him the speech and he called with ace-four of clubs. And he won."

Vrakas just responded with a loud laugh and a big grin on his face.

Bicknell Takes From Zawaszki

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

The flop read {5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} with about 10,000 in the pot already. Piotr Zawaszki, in the big blind, and Kristen Bicknell, on the button, both checked.

The {Q-Clubs} on the river completed the board, Zawaszki was checking out Bicknell's stack and she said she still had about 12,000. Zawaszki bet 3,500 and Bicknell cut out the chips she needed to make the call and counted out some more chips. In the end, she just called. Zawaski showed {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for two pair, queens and eights but Bicknell had him beat with the {10-Spades}{8-Spades} in her hand for trip eights.

Kevin MacPhee had a stack of about 40,000 in front of him.

"Guy was all in with five-two and the flop was jack-three-two. Turn came five and the river was a jack and I had aces so I counterfeited his two pair. And before that I had queens against sevens."

Aidonopoulos Eliminates Another One

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

The player in the under-the-gun position had shoved all in for 4,175 and action folded to Theodoros Aidonopoulos. He asked for a count which the dealer gave him. He called. Everyone else folded.

Theodoros Aidonopoulos: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Under-the-gun: {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

The flop came {2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}, the under-the-gun player had hit his two, he now just needed to avoid a king to stay alive in the tournament. The turn brought them the {3-Diamonds} which was safe but the {K-Spades} on the river completed the board and gave Aidonopoulos the higher pair of kings and the pot.
