Back Back To Almost Average

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

The board read {5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Christopher Back had bet 8,000 from the big blind. The player in the cutoff tanked and then called. Back showed {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for two pair, kings and queens and that was enough to take the pot down.

Magalashvili Takes One Down

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

In the last hand before the break, Michael Magalashvili won a big hand against Christian Werner.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, Werner, in the small blind, had check-raised all in on Magalashvili's bet and Magalashvili had called.

Michael Magalashvili: {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}
Christian Werner: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

Magalashvili had top pair with jacks but Werner had the better hand with pocket aces. The {7-Spades} came on the turn so Magalashvili needed a jack or queen to not double up Werner. The {Q-Diamonds} came on the river to eliminate Werner from the tournament in 62nd place.

Break

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

After the bubble burst, the players played a few more hands before the break started. They now still have about 15 minutes of break left before they continue with the remaining six levels. There are currently still 62 players left in the field.

Magalashvili Doubles Up During The Bubble

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

In the hand before the bubble burst, the player in the small blind had gone all in on Michael Magalashvili's table. Magalashvili was sitting in the big blind and went into the tank. After a while, he called but they had to wait for the other tables to finish their hands first before they could go to showdown.

Michael Magalashvili: {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Small Blind: {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds} - Magalashvili hit a six on the flop and his opponent the five but the rest of the board didn't endanger his situation and he doubled up.

The Colossus

In the 6th round of hand-for hand play Emil Lukac burst the bubble by eliminating Lars Kamphues.

Emil Lukac: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
Lars Kamphues: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} - no help for Kamphues and he was eliminated in 69th place.

Slow Play

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Play has slowed down a lot since the players are getting close to the bubble. With 70 players left, only 2 more players need to be eliminated before the rest of the players have reached the money.
