turn, Samuel Albeck checked and called a bet of 2,000 by Felipe Raqmos. Both players ended up checking the 
on the river and Albeck announced a straight. Ramos motioned for him to show the cards as first player after the button and Albeck turned over the

On the flop of 
, a pot of 6,275 had emerged and Stanislav Parkhomenko bet 6,000 out of the big blind. Bianca Jacobs raised the pot to 24,300 and Georgios Koliofotis called on the button before Parkhomenko tank-folded.
The 
fell on the turn and Jacobs moved all in for her remaining 7,500, which Koliofotis snap-called. "Do you have jacks?" Jacobs asked and Koliofotis nodded. "Yes I have jacks," and Jacobs was taken aback before the cards were tabled.

Jacobs had improved to a full house, but was already drawing dead to the quads of Koliofotis, making the 
river a formality.
Aaron Duczak claimed an early pot against Dario Alioto to build his stack but wasn't involved in the next bigger pot on the same table. Fabrice Soulier min-raised to 300 and Mikko Hirvonen three-bet to 1,100 from one seat over. Eric Lescot called from the cutoff, as did Alioto in the small blind, and Soulier also came along.
On the 
flop the action checked to Lescot and his bet of 1,700 won the pot.
Half-way through the first level the screens show 52 entries and among the most recent notables to enter were former Pot-Limit Omaha WSOP Champion Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Jose Obadia, Federico Quevedo and Jose Obadia. As per usual, Obadia was seated on the same table as Barny Boatman, which prompted some greetings in Spanish.
After a limp by Samuel Albeck and Mustafa Jukovic, Mohammadjavad Haddadnia raised to 600 on the button and both limpers called. The flop fell 
and Haddadnia's pot-sized bet followed, which only Jukovic check-called. After the turn, Jukovic immediately announced a pot-sized bet of 5,800 and Haddadnia folded.
Bianca Jacobs is the only woman in the field so far and limped in from the small blind. Michal Maryska, who final-tabled the €550 Pot-Limit Omaha Event, raised to 450 from the big blind and Jacobs called. On the 
flop, Jacobs checked and folded to a bet.
One hand later a four-way limped pot brought the flop of 
and all players checked. On the turn, Georgios Koliofotis bet 600 from under the gun and just Maryska called. The 
fell on the river and Maryska check-folded to a bet of 1,800 by Koliofotis.
One table over a big pot was already brewing with 3,500 in the middle and the board showing 
. Samuel Albeck bet 2,200 and Pascal Lardy eventually called. Albeck announced "nuts, only the nuts" and showed 
for the eight-high straight.
