Moorman's Pair Good

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

Chris Moorman checked from the small blind on a {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} board and the big blind bet 3,800. Moorman called. The river was a {k-Diamonds}, making two one-card straights possible. Moorman checked again and his opponent thought a bit and checked back.

"One pair," Moorman said.

His opponent nodded, so Moorman turned over {j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Updated Counts, Dinner Break

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Here are some updated chip counts before the 1b flight of WSOPE's Main Event heads to a 90-minute dinner break.

Kempe Can't Find His Footing

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Rainer Kempe bet 1,900 on a {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop from under the gun and got called by a player in middle position. Both checked the {6-Hearts} and {7-Hearts} and Kempe flashed what looked like {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} before mucking to {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

The German crusher is having a hard time getting anything going, but the structure of the Main Event means he's still got time to turn things around.

Kabrhel Out, Tran and Dedusha Building

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Artan Dedusha just eliminated Martin Kabrhel before raising to 1,000 from the hijack.

He said that he had sixes against Kabrhel who had {a-}{k-} and the two got all in in a four-bet pot. Dedusha flopped a set and Kabrhel headed to the rail.

Meanwhile, three players called Dedusha's raise and the flop came {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Dedusha seemed to be thinking with the action on him, but when he realized it was his turn he quickly checked.

"F$*k, I don't even know I'm in the hand and I'm the one who raised," he said.

After Dedusha's check, Tran bet 3,700 and two players called while Dedusha folded. The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Tran bet again when it checked to him. This time he made it 9,000. He got one caller.

The river was the {3-Spades} and the action checked to Tran a third time. He quickly slid out most of his remaining stack, betting 105,000. His opponent folded.

Ramos Busted

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Felipe Ramos got his last 6,000 or so all in preflop and was at risk against two players. Eugene Katchalov was one and he bet 6,000 into a dry side pot from the big blind on a completed {9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs} board. A third player folded, and Katchalov showed {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. Ramos mucked his {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and headed for the rail.

Christian Christner (big blind) and David Keuftedjian (middle position) built a pot of about 25,000 on a board of {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}. After thinking for a minute, Christner shoved all in for 31,725. Keuftedjian got the count and called after about 90 seconds of thought.

Christner rolled over {7-Spades}{3-Spades} for a straight flush, leaving Keuftedjian shaking his head as he mucked {k-Spades}{2-Spades}.
