Some Chip Counts

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Nagy Takes Two Out

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
Vivien Nagy
Vivien Nagy

Vivien Nagy is on a run, she first eliminated Martin Schmidkunz with {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} on the {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} board. Schmidkunz held {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} which wasn't good enough against the flush Nagy had turned.

The hand right after that, Tiziano Di Romualdo had raised to 700 from the hijack and was called by Tim Gerritzen in the cutoff. Markus Sturz three-bet to 4,000 from the button and Nagy responded with a four-bet to 10,000. Di Romualdo tanked, glancing at everyone's stack, smiling, and tanking a bit longer. He then shrugged and folded. Gerritzen did the same before Sturz hesitantly made the call.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, Nagy checked quickly and Sturz shoved. Nagy also announced all-in even though she had Sturz covered and then waited for Sturz to open his cards first. Sturz showed {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} and then Nagy finally opened her hand which was {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the flopped set of jacks.

The rest of the board was completed with the {k-Clubs} on the turn and the {10-Diamonds} on the river. Sturz got up and Nagy quietly stacked up even more chips while the rest of the table looked on in amazement.

Della Longa Takes Susta Out

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

The flop read {6-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs} and both Vojtech Susta (16,500) and Davide Della Longa (21,500) were all-in and at risk as they were called by Per Hansen with the bigger stack.

Vojtech Susta: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
Davide Della Longa: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Per Hansen: {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Susta had an overpair, Della Longa the lower overpair and Hansen had flopped the middle-pair.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} which gave Della Longa the gutshot to the straight and the {9-Hearts} on the river was exactly that. Susta was eliminated and Hansen paid Della Longa his double-up.

The flop read {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Manuel Braunhoefer had gone all-in from the cutoff for around 12,000. Franco Polidori had check-called from mid-position.

Manuel Braunhoefer: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Franco Polidori: {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Braunhoefer was behind against the top pair that Polidori had flopped.
