Gutyi Folds Kings

Level 1 : 150/300, 0 ante

Mykhailo Gutyi had 7,500 in front of him on the cutoff. Konstantin Beylin sat on the hijack and had a bet of 20,000 in front of him and Gutyi called.

The flop fell {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Beylin continued with a bet of 15,000. Gutyi called again and the turn was the {J-Clubs}.

This time Beylin put in 50,000, which was enough to cover Gutyi. Gutyi jumped up from his seat and said: "I have kings". He kept talking to himself how Beylin had to have aces.

He folded his pocket kings face up and asked Beylin to show him the ace. Beylin peeked at his cards and showed the {A-Clubs}.

Preflop Power Poker

Level 1 : 150/300, 0 ante

Will Givens gave it a shot yesterday, but the WSOP bracelet winner wasn't able to make it through to Day 2. He is giving it another shot today as he sat down on Day 1B.

Givens saw Eyal Avitan open from the cutoff to 800. Givens sat in the small blind and he three-bet to 2,500. When the player in the big blind folded the action was back on Avitan and he put in a casual four-bet to 6,000. Givens wasn't ready to give up on the pot yet and he five-bet to 17,000.

Avitan thought about it for a minute before awarding the pot to Givens.
