Feature Table: Sekularac Eliminated by Speranza

Level 19 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Ognjen Sekularac
Ognjen Sekularac

Christian Rudolph raised to 250,000 from the cutoff with {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, Ognjen Sekularac called in the small blind with {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} and so did Gianluca Speranza in the big blind with {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

The flop came {6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, both Sekularac and Speranza checked. Rudolph continued with a bet of 275,000 which they both called.

The turn brought them the {10-Clubs} which gave both Speranza and Rudolph the gutshot to a straight but Sekularac was still ahead with the pair of kings. Sekularac bet 390,000, Speranza called after contemplating for a while but Rudolph folded.

The {6-Hearts} on the river gave Speranze trip sixes to jump ahead of Sekularac's pair of kings. Sekularac bet 520,000 which sent Speranza into the tank. Speranza responded with a shove to put Sekularac at risk. Sekularac counted his stack, tanked a bit longer, and then decided to make the call after tanking for a bit more than three minutes. Sekularac quickly left the stage when he saw he was beat and Speranza calmly stacked up his new chips.
