Hellmuth's Trap Doesn't Work

Level 3 : 2,000/3,000, 5,000 ante

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8

Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{a-Spades} / {x-}
Viktor Blom: {x-}{x-} / {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} / {x-}

In a Stud Hi-Lo hand, Phil Hellmuth clashed with Viktor Blom and ended up sigh-calling a bet on seventh with a pair of aces showing. Multiple bets were already in the middle and Blom rolled over the {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for two pair and a seven-five low, while Hellmuth tabled {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

"Next time I am three-betting you. No more calling. I call because I want to trap you," Hellmuth said after his pair of aces and inferior low had been scooped.
