One Pot for Lisandro

Level 2 : 2,000/3,000, 5,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Allen Kessler raised from under the gun and was called by Jeff Lisandro in the small blind and Joao Vieira in the big blind. The trio checked the {a-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and Lisandro bet the {9-Diamonds} turn, Vieira called and Kessler folded.

After the {4-Diamonds} river, Lisandro bet and Vieira reluctantly folded.

Martini Gets Some Back From Hellmuth

Level 2 : 2,000/3,000, 5,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Julien Martini in the cutoff and Phil Hellmuth on the button had multiple bets for 72,000 each in total invested throughout a board of {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and the final bet of Martini was called by Hellmuth.

Martini tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a full house and Hellmuth was clearly upset.

"I had much better than a flush draw," he said in table chat and lost a portion of his previous profit against Martini.

Higgs In the Profit

Level 2 : 2,000/3,000, 5,000 ante

Sam Higgs has split up his stack with 1 million on the left side and the smaller chips in profit on the right, and he appears to be the early chip leader. In a recent Seven Card Stud hand, he took on Shaun Deeb and scooped the pot without showdown.

Seven Card Stud

Shaun Deeb: {x-}{x-} / {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades} / {x-}
Sam Higgs: {x-}{x-} 7 {10-Spades}{k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}

Higgs bet fourth and seventh street while fifth and sixth were checked. Deeb was contemplating a call on seventh as both had a pair of kings showing and eventually folded.

2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

Allen Kessler drew three and the same applied for Benny Glaser on the first draw. Kessler check-called a bet and took two next, while Glaser discarded one card. Kessler once again check-called a bet and discarded one on the final draw, Glaser stood pat.

Kessler check-raised and Glaser folded.

Seven Card Stud

Julien Martini: {x-}{x-} / {10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} / {x-}
Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-} / {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}

Picking up the action on fourth street, Julien Martini faced a bet by Phil Hellmuth and called. On fifth street, Hellmuth bet and Martini raised, Hellmuth called. The very same action repeated on sixth and Hellmuth check-called a bet on seventh.

"You win," Martini said and tabled the {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for tens up, while Hellmuth had {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a set of tens.

Hellmuth and Higgs Chop

Level 2 : 2,000/3,000, 5,000 ante

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-} / {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{a-Hearts} / {x-}
Sam Higgs: {x-}{x-} / {6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} / {x-}
Shaun Deeb: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts} fold

Phil Hellmuth bet fourth and fifth street against Sam Higgs and Shaun Deeb. He was called both ways on fourth while only Higgs stuck around on fifth. No further betting action took place and Hellmuth tabled {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a pair of kings, while Higgs had {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for an inferior pair and superior low.

Julien Martini: {x-}{x-} / {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} / {x-}
