Martini Takes It on the Flop

Level 1 : 1,000/3,000, 4,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

David "ODB" Baker opened to 7,000 from the cutoff and Julien Martini on the button three-bet to 22,000. Joao Vieira reraised the pot to 76,000 in the small blind and Baker folded, Martini gave it some consideration and made the call.

On the {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} flop, Vieira checked and a bet of 100,000 by Martini won the pot right there.

Flush for Deeb; Quads For Higgs

Level 1 : 1,000/3,000, 4,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Phil Hui raised to 10,000 on the button and Shaun Deeb came along from the small blind, as did Viktor Blom in the big blind. On the {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop all three checked and the {10-Clubs} fell on the turn. Deeb made it 30,000 to go and received two calls.

The {5-Diamonds} on the river was checked and Deeb tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a flush to win the pot.

Shortly after, Deeb check-called a bet of 35,000 by Sam Higgs on the {j-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} river and Higgs flipped over {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for quads to win the pot.
