Tsang Gets Paid

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante

Anson Tsang raised to 900 from middle position and Nir Amar called from the small blind along with Gian Generosi in the big blind.

A flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} was dealt and Amar bet 1,500. Generosi folded but Tsang called. The turn brought the {5-Spades} and Amar continued with a bet of 3,300 that Tsang called again. The {k-Spades} completed the board and Amar fired 4,000. Tsang took a few seconds of reflection then raised to 12,000. Amar called and Tsang tabled {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a flush. Amar tossed his cards in the muck.

Kaldaron Sends Elster Out

The flop showed {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} in a head's up pot when Yaniv Kaldaron bet 2,000 and faced a raise worth 6,000 from Doron Elster. Kaldaron decided to shove for a stack around 30,000, putting Elster at risk. The latter snap-called.

Kaldaron held {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a flopped set while Elster had {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and was drawing dead when the {10-Diamonds} hit the turn. Elster made his way to the exit when the {7-Spades} completed the board.

Hao Wu raised to 800 under the gun and Jan Stoklasa called from middle position along with Philipp Koloer on the button and Karl Soxhlet in the big blind.

Players saw a flop of {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Soxhlet checked. Wu bet 1,400 and Stoklasa and Koloer called but Soxhlet folded.

The turn came the {7-Clubs} and this time, Wu checked. Stoklasa bet 3,000 and Koloer folded but Wu check-called.

The {j-Hearts} filled up the board and was checked around. Wu tabled {4-Spades}{3-Spades} for two pair and Stoklasa showed the {j-Clubs} before sending his hand to the muck.

Goyal Shoves on the River

There was a pot of around 8,000 in the middle and the flop was reading {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} when Corrado Martinelli checked from the cutoff. Tarun Goyal bet 8,000 from the button and Martinelli check-called.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} and was checked through to the {k-Clubs} river. Martinelli checked once more but Goyal moved all in for 16,500. Martinelli hit the tank for about a minute, then let it go.
